WATER, SANITATION, AND HYGIENE
- Construct and rehabilitate water points in vulnerable schools and communities.
- Construct and rehabilitate gender-sensitive sanitation facilities.
- Construct and rehabilitate male and female urinals for persons with challenges.
- Distribute WASH kits in schools and the community.
- Train and build capacities of water management communities and local artisans.

- Researching sources, impacts, effective prevention and remediation methods, and approaches to minimize harm from Lead (Pb) in drinking water.
students' road safety
- We assist under 11 (pupils) to safely cross the road before and after school.
- We work in synergy with municipal councils to develop road safety signs on roads located around schools.
- We carry out safety awareness raising among road users and the student population.
- Training of the local population on road safety measures.
- Support to health facilities located along the road to improve emergency rescue of accident victims.
HEALTH
We work in partnership with Alheri Medical Foundation to:
- Educate and sensitize on public health-related issues that pose a threat to humanity and the environment (both communicable and non-communicable diseases) in schools and communities.
- We screen for Moderate and Severe Acute Malnutrition (MAM and SAM).
- We test malaria and HIV and provide basic malaria treatments.
- Provide nutritious foods and essential supplements to malnourished children.
- Advocate for quality and better health care.
- Reduce the spread of epidemics such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, waterborne diseases, and other communicable diseases.
- Reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment.

Education in Emergency
- Ensure the active and transparent participation of community members in the analysis, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of education responses in crisis localities.
- Identify and mobilize community resources.
- Put in place coordination mechanisms for education and support stakeholders, working to ensure access to quality education.
- Ensure a holistic and transparent timely education assessment of the emergency.
- Carry out inclusive education response strategies.
- Carry out regular monitoring and impartial evaluation of education response activities.
Our NGO is also committed to enhancing well-being in schools and learning communities through targeted mental health and psychosocial support. Our commitment is in the following ways:-
- Setting up child-friendly spaces to support children's mental health through safe play.
- Running dedicated phone lines and help points for people on the move who need a friendly ear.
- Community engagement to promote positive mental well-being and address the stigma often surrounding mental health conditions.
- Programs to help vulnerable groups develop social and emotional skills so they can support one another.
SCHOOL SAFETY AND CLIMATE CHANGE
- Sensitize and educate the population on the causes and the effects of global warming and climate variability on our environment and health
- Mitigate and adapt to climate change (e.g reduce building carbon footprint and use of non-renewable resources.)
- Address issues of climate change, roll-out green school strategies and transformative actions within the society to address climate change.
- Implement climate-smart interventions for water and energy conservation and waste management.
- Introduce practical teaching and learning tools for climate change education in primary schools.
- Cultivate student interest in developing climate innovations through regular competitions and inter-school engagements.
- Raise system-wide commitment and awareness on school safety in relation to disaster and climate risk reduction to identify policy priorities and goals
